It all began in early 2013 with hand-illustrated flyers and handbills for basement punk shows that later evolved to include print advertisements for larger venues and nonprofit organizations. I started out with a “dirty”, DIY punk aesthetic to fit the tone of the shows, but now I use a fusion of both typefaces and hand-lettering for more cleaner promotional material.
